When the look must be flawless, VisionOn's expert retouchers harmonize complexion, makeup, and lighting to create an image that feels luxurious and immaculate. Let's Get Started.

Skin retouching is the process of refining a model’s skin so it looks clean, flattering, yet real. At VisionOn, we work with a human eye to edit temporary blemishes, reduce under-eye shadows, even skin tone, and gently improve overall complexion—while preserving natural texture, pores, and defining features.
Because “skin retouching” can mean very different things, we offer three levels:
Basic: Quick clean-up (pimples, minor redness, under-eye bags) + light evening of tone.
Natural: A more complete polish than Basic, still realistic—cleaner skin, smoother transitions, and balanced tone without looking “done” or AI-generated.
Beauty: High-precision close-up work for beauty brands with tight crops that magnify skin details and require additional time and finesse.
The right level of skin retouching depends on how the image will be used—and what the viewer is meant to focus on.
Basic (E-commerce / high-volume): A basic cleanup. Best for product-driven imagery at scale. We keep it efficient and consistent—removing temporary blemishes, reducing minor distractions (like under-eye shadows), and lightly evening tone. The rule is simple: remove what pulls attention away, without looking retouched.
Natural (Editorial / story-driven): Ideal for images that create mood, narrative, and brand feel. This level goes beyond Basic with a more complete clean-up, while still looking like real skin. It’s often used for editorial-style content, lookbooks, and brand storytelling where the image isn’t solely about selling a single product.
Beauty (Tight headshots / talent / close-ups): Designed for close crops where the face tells the story—beauty campaigns, skincare, cosmetics, and hero images. When a head fills the frame, tiny details that are invisible in person can look obvious on screen. This level includes the most precise, time-intensive work and is common when you’re featuring celebrity talent or in any moment when the product and model need to look their absolute best.
Yes. Tattoo removal is a common request—often because brands aren’t told in advance that the model has visible ink. There’s nothing like the surprise of discovering tattoos when your model walks on set, especially when they clash with brand guidelines, wardrobe, or the intended look.
Yes. VisionOn delivers a consistent, on-brand level of skin retouching—never FaceTune-glossy, and never unretouched because your vendor ignored your direction. We follow your standards across every set, preserving real texture and only retouching what distracts. No AI shortcuts. No guessing. Just reliable results that match your brand, image to image.
Yes. VisionOn encourages clients to speak directly with a retoucher early in the relationship to align on the level of retouching your brand should present skin. That upfront conversation is essential for consistency, helps prevent over-retouching or under-retouching, and sets a clear standard we can carry across every set and season.
